Many a times the situation is unfavourable for you and unwillingly you find yourself in the bad credit book of lender. In such an adverse situation, if some need of extra cash arrives due to any sudden trip, paying of due bills or repairing of homes then you find it difficult to go for loans. Bad credit loans help you out and provide you the needed cash. People with CCJ’s, arrears, default payment or due payment come into the category of bad creditors who are benefited by these loans.

Some facts and figure With the changing time the myth about bad creditors has changed and you can easily find a lender offering these loans. There are certain prerequisites as you have to give proof of your name and address, employment status, monthly income and in some cases information regarding previous default payments. The loan amount sanctioned varies from £5000 to £75,000 depending upon your credit score and repayment ability. The typical interest rate varies from 7.4% to 26.6% with repayment period of 5 to 25 years. The high interest rate is due to the sense of insecurity in the lender due to your poor credit score. These loans are available as secured and unsecured form, so you have an option to choose one according to your interest. In case you opt for secured one then you have to keep collateral. The benefit is that the interest rate is less with more loan amount and extended repayment period. But you always have the risk of loosing the collateral in case of failure in repayment. In case you go for unsecured loans then no collateral is kept but the loan amount is less together with higher interest rate and less repayment time. These loans are available online so you have another unique facility which provides you instant information and quick loans.

Summary Bad credit loans are a boon for people with bad credit in case they are in deep financial problem. These loans are available easily to you if you fulfill it’s certain requirements. You can choose from secured and unsecured loans according to your benefit.

There are millions of international prepaid calling cards being sold and used everyday. You may be wondering how it all began.

Although international prepaid calling cards have become a powerhouse technological system generating billions of dollars, you might be surprised to know that it was first developed three decades ago. The history of prepaid calling cards is as interesting and amusing as other modern invention stories that you may have heard before. The cards were originally made in Europe then reached America after a decade. Today, almost every nation in the world has a variety of international prepaid calling cards available.

The 70’s

In 1975 SIDA, a producer and distributor of vending machines in Italy began experimenting with the idea of making calling cards. The idea was to replace coins being used for payphones since medal coins were in shortage and theft and vandalism was rampant. The first batch of made prepaid calling cards were released into the market in 1976.

These were very slim cards from cardboards and got stuck on more than one occasion. They operated via a magnetic strip at the back of the card that can be scanned by new special phones upon insertion of the card. The idea of paying per minute was already incorporated in this pioneer batch.

In 1977, the popularity of the new prepaid calling cards rose after one year and nearby countries in Europe like Sweden, France, the United Kingdom and Austria also started using the system and manufacturing cards. The magnetic strip validation was the key trait of the cards. A year later, Nelson G. Bardini from Brazil used inductive technology to improve international prepaid calling cards. There are sequences of coils that identified how much is used up in the card.

The 80’s

The new cards using inductive technology was presented at the national inventors’ exhibition in 1982. Japan also began manufacturing prepaid calling cards which sold several thousands daily. The Nippon Telephone and Telegraph company was the first in Japan to adapt to the new system. In 1984, France developed the technology by using chip-based “smart cards”.

Three years later, World Telecom Group, Siemens and General Electric manufactured magstripe cards which contained information. This is the same technology used by credit cards today. In 1988, the first catalogue of telecards was released in England by Dr. Steve His*censored*s. In 1989, AT&T invested in the system as well producing several thousands of cards daily.

The 90’s

In 1990, the non-magstripe calling card was made by Regional Bell Operating Company in New York which involved dialing a toll-free access number. The caller would then input the Personal Identification Number or PIN. This new system started the rise of international prepaid calling cards since it was very versatile and allowed access to any phone in the world. By 1995, over six hundred million dollars in sales were made from international prepaid calling cards.

The 2000’s

Sales continued to soar well into the 21st century counting in the billions. The system replaced most collect call systems and coin payphones and continued to develop with other gadgets as well like cellular phones and the internet. With its continuous success, international prepaid calling cards are definitely here to stay.

The Rising Popularity of Prepaid Cell Phone Use By: Reggie Andersen

As cell phones become more than just a convenience, People who had not considered getting one before are now seriously looking at the various options open to them. Though contract cell phones are still the most common, prepaid cell phones are gaining popularity.

Many people looking at getting their first cell phone are hesitant about getting locked into a two year contract when they are not sure just how much they will actually use the phone. Even people who have had contract plans are looking to go with prepaid when they find they either don’t use the cell phone enough or just want to get away from the monthly bills. Prepaid cell phones are cell phones that don’t have a contract that requires paying a monthly bill even if you don’t use the phone. There are basically two types of prepaid phones – prepaid with monthly plans and prepaid with redeemable airtime cards.

The prepaid cell phones with monthly plans are like month to month subscriptions that can be ended at any time. These plans often have many of the same advantages that contract cell phone plans have, such as free night and weekend minutes and free mobile to mobile. Several of the major carriers have such plans but the most notable is AT&T, formerly Cingular.

With their Go Phones, you would have several plan options to choose from. These are based on the number of anytime minutes, options such as free nights and weekends and free mobile to mobile. If you run short of minutes before it is time to pay the subscription again, you can add more minutes by calling in and paying an additional amount. You can also just wait and pay at the regular time and simply do without the phone until then.

Prepaid cell phones with redeemable airtime cards are perhaps the fastest growing of the prepaid cell phones. These work by redeeming an airtime card with a certain number of minutes. The number of minutes available on these cards ranges from 20 on up. Some have as many as 500 minutes.

Some, like Tracfone, have cards that keep your phone activated for one full year, even if you run out of minutes. If you don’t get the one year activation card, you need to redeem a new card at least every sixty days to keep your phone active. If it goes inactive, it can be reactivated but you will most likely have a new phone number. Many companies besides Tracfone offer this kind of prepaid phone. Among them are Virgin Mobile, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

With prepaid cell phone plans, you most often buy the phone outright but there are often specials that include a free phone with the purchase of a high minute plan or airtime card. Prepaid cell phones are often preferred by people who need a cell phone but are watching their budgets and don’t want to have a monthly bill they have to pay. Prepaid gives the option of not having to pay a penalty for ending a contract before it is up. Just simply not buy more minutes or end the subscription. These are ideal for keeping the use of cell phones by teenagers and pre-teens from getting out of hand. When the minutes are gone, they are gone.

Prepaid(Debit) Card for the banked, unbanked, and payroll solutions by Ethel P. Robinson

A prepaid debit card for the unbanked, banked, and for payroll solutions The first and most basic step to financial wealth is having a checking or saving account. This sets the stage for future endeavors, such as investing, homebuying, etc. Many people are unable or locked out to do this due to past bank situations. Some mistrust the financial institution and hide their money around the house. Still others use money orders or cash for method of payment. This group of the population is often referred to as the unbanked. There are thousands upon thousands of people in the arena.

Some banks may see this as a problem. But these individual or families are potential customers, which mean more accounts, which means more money made by the institution. Suppose there are 10,000- 15,000 individuals in a city without checking accounts. At a potential eight dollars per account, per month, can add up to a hefty sum year after year. And depending on the profitability or the bank this can be big business.

While the banks may see the unbanked as a problem, the check cashing and payday loan companies see it as a windfall. These operations can take advantage of an already bad situation making it worst, charging outrageous fees and earning large profits. Many of these companies are located in low-income areas and prey heavily on minorities.

One way a person can save on the fees from a check cashing business or to help in his every day business transactions is purchase a prepaid debit card. These cards can be used like a credit card. One would load money on the card when needed. The difference is when using your debit or prepaid card you are using your own money. With a credit card you are using someone else money, accruing interest and a bill. These cards have the Visa and Mastercard logo and can be used anywhere these cards are accepted nationwide or internationally.

A person without a checking or saving account, can have his employer deposit money to the card, eliminating the need for a check cashing center. Saving money for both the employee and employer. The employer saves the cost of printing checks. Another way a person can save money, is by transferring money to others that have the same type card for a minimal fee. Many minorities send money home weekly to families. With the minimal transfer fee, more money can be sent home for the family. Some cards charge as little as $2.45 per transfer.

The prepaid debit card can be gotten at a bank, but how can you get it at a bank it you can’t get a checking or a saving account. Many consumers are locked out when it comes to ordering online, from TV, or some other businesses. Many businesses only accept credit or debit cards. The prepaid card can be gotten online with a credit card or mailed in with a money order to fund the card initially. After that the card can be funded at Moneygram, mail, direct deposit, or Western Union.

The prepaid card can also be used for people who have checking or savings accounts. Most bank debit card is attached to a saving or checking account, leaving the account holder open to fraud. An unknown person can get the account number and withdraw funds without your knowledge. Having a prepaid or debit card can eliminates this threat. With the prepaid or debit card, only the amount of money on the card is subject to loss. This card can also help one stay on a budget and lower credit card debt.

Parents, this card is great for college students. With two cards you can keep an eye on how your child is spending the cash you are sending via transfer to put on the card for college expenses. There is an online statement of all transactions. Or you can make a call to get it.

What a great way to save money and but this on the card for vacation. Add to the card little by little or save and add at one time. Keep saving the pennies, nickels and dimes. They can pay off in having extra money on your vacation. Make your hotel and rental car reservations.

Not only can this card but used for the above situations, they also can be used for the following: customers with bankruptcies, county court judgments, defaults, a low credit score, are unemployed, payment privacy and income support or benefit.

In this article, I will go over a list of common questions asked about Prepaid Master Cards and answer them.1. Who is qualified for the Prepaid Master Card?

The Prepaid Master Card is offered to residents who live in the US, and can provide an address in the United States where the card can be shipped. Foreigners and US citizens who do not reside in the United States may recieve a Prepaid Master Card if they have family or friends who have a US postal address where the card can be mailed. Any mail that you recieve will have to be forwarded.

2. What is a Prepaid Master Card?

The Prepaid Master Card is a prepaid credit card which is issued by a FDIC bank which is insured. The card can be used at any Western Union or Money Gram. No minimum balance is necessary, and the card can also be loaded online. The card can be used at any place which accepts it, and they can be used at most ATMs.

3. How long will it take me to receive the card in the mail once it has been ordered?

You can expect the Prepaid Master Card to arrive to you within two to four business days after you have paid for it.

These are the most common questions asked by those considering getting the Prepaid Master Card. An initial fee will have to be paid in order to get the card itself. This is one of the things that separate the prepaid credit cards from the traditional cards.

In the past, most credit cards have been mailed to the consumers free of charge. The credit card companies added the balance to the card, and it was the responsibility of the consumer to pay back whatever they borrowed.

With prepaid credit cards, the consumers themselves must now pay a fee in order to get the cards. This creates a situation which benefits both the credit card companies and the consumer. The consumer gets the Prepaid Master Card and must add the balance themselves. The credit card companies benefit by profiting from the initial payment made.

The Prepaid Master Card gives excellent advantages to those who want the convenience of credit cards without the debt involved. You’re in control your spending, and set the limits on how much you choose to spend.
